Bliss The Vortex God Magnificence… 7 Steps to feel AMAAAZING!
I’ve been a little curious (read bothered) recently by judgmental raw foodies and those who choose a certain way of life…. Not so much their choices, but how I’ve perceived them judging/criticising/condemning others who don’t share their beliefs.
As I write, it reminds me of how v fundamentalist religions see others’ path to God as the ‘wrong’ one.
As I sit here in my bliss on a Saturday morning, taking a break on my doggy walk, in Andalucia, musing, meditating and feeling the glorious energy of the sea as I gaze out over the Mediterranean waves, I am totally connected to my bliss. I got a lovely dollop of love as I did so.. imbued with clarity!
When people find THEIR path to God/Bliss/Joy/The Vortex, whatever it is they call it, they want to share it with EVERYONE and probably, in all innocence they actually think it’s the only way. Ha ha – so in my bliss bubble this morning, I see their actions are innocent, and underneath it all, motivated by LOVE!
It got me curious about my paths to bliss. Just to define that state, whatever we call it, it’s absolutely ‘thought-free’. There’s a feeling of joy. Everything, for the split second/s, minutes or longer is just perfect in the world.
Simply find things to be grateful for.
Even in the midst of chaos, or a grim time, if you can find just a teeny thing to be thankful for, you WILL change your mood. The first step to being able to manifest more of what you do love.
Move your body, when you increase your heart rate through exercise, you simply can’t feel good as it releases endorphins.
Same as above, smiling releases endorphins.
4. Clarity on what you love..
And creating it. Sometimes it can be something as simple as painting your nails, having your hair done, having a massage. Pampering basically. Looking after number one.
3. Spend time in nature..
Or even have a flower on your desk, or on your dining table… gaze at it 🙂
Of course walking in the woods, or spending time at the beach is the most awesome thing you can do. Even in the midst of the city, you can still look at the sky and connect to Father Sky..
There are SO many breathing exercises, recently I’m loving Abraham Hicks Vortex Meditations, with
Of course this is going to be number one, I personally think it’s the quickest, most direct route to feeling amazing. It allows you to disconnect from the ‘monkey mind’, and live more from your higher self, connected to the wisdom, love, and light of your soul.
I can’t remember what famed monk whose student told him he didn’t have time to meditate for 15 minutes a day, and the monk said ‘Okay then, meditate for 30 minutes.’ Lol.
There’s a magic in meditation, simply meditating actually creates more time in your day!
“Whatever you do make sure what you’re doing makes you happy.” Weekender, by Flowered Up, great video which I managed to have broadcast on Channel 4 in the 90’s when I worked there – it rocks! Click here to watch. If you’re an old raver you’ll love it, it’s not for everyone. It does have ‘interesting’ language and drug references in it though! I used to love it back in the day because it was so rare to see something like this showing what some young people get up to. I was lucky enough to be a party-er and get out in one piece 🙂 I wouldn’t change it for the world, I had some amazing times, and they changed my life. I have no idea why that quotation came to my mind, maybe it’s because I have a strong dislike for rules, I do what I love, even back in the day I partied, but because I was always in my heart, and I followed sage advice; “if you do drugs, only do them when you’re happy up here (the wonderful person said to me as they pointed to their mind), and happy with the people you’re with”. I received this advice as a child when I was totally anti-drugs, and never thought I’d try anything, ever in my life… when I did, this sage advice always stayed with me. Great advice! I think my experimenting with drugs many years ago definitely brought me to my spiritual path, but I don’t recommend it. I did it when it felt right to me, not from peer pressure, but when it was true for me. So there you go, a little bit of an ‘about me’ confession there 😉 I dont’ do anything like that now, I’m simply too sensitive. Although I am not against things like mushrooms, ayahuasca and the like – taken with honour, and preferably in a ceremonial setting as they can be an incredible aid on the path.
Enjoy your weekend!
